Lenin created a series of comps for O’Keefe Reinhard & Paul and their client, The ACT LV, a risqué nightclub in Las Vegas. Lenin’s B&W Noir style was a good fit for conveying the club’s signature blend of mystery, drama and lavish debauchery.
Set of Digital Color frames for a Citracal animatic by the dymanic drawing duo, Carol and Lenin. Lenin roughs it out, Carol refines the drawing and makes sure all the pieces are consistent and fit from frame to frame. Lenin then adds the digital color.
Lenin acted as master of ceremonies on these animatic frames. The night scene features a dark and moody Color Noir style which really aids to illustrate the worker’s pain. The following day the pain is gone. The mood lightens with a sunnier handling of Lenin’s signature style.
The awesome thing about having a commercial artist like Lenin on your team is that your ideas are only limited by your imagination. Impress your clients with original, fresh creative like the one depicted in this Hyper Color print comp with its great wall of people lining the top of an awe inspiring mountain range.
Three frames that prove many hands can achieve a cohesive look. Carol worked from Lenin’s roughs to create the finished pencils of the people which Lenin then digitally colored as he merged everything with Kari’s backgrounds. Another fine job from Team Envisionaire…our ultimate goal.
